.:running on faith:.
-------------------------------------------------------------------Almost twenty nine years has passed since Harry Potter single handedly stopped the greatest Dark Wizard to plague the Wizarding World. After a catastrophic battle; filled with death, chaos and grief; did the people of the Wizarding World finally pull themselves together to build a new life, based on the last remaining comforts they had. United, our Wizards and Witches alike, rehabilitated the Ministry of Magic, along with all the counterparts that were destroyed during battle. The years of anguish have been long forgotten and the past seems nothing more like a vivid nightmare.
Most have stopped speaking of the Dark Lord, he held no importance anymore. Now, he is just as fickle as the dwindling pages in an old history book. Together, the wizarding world and all its occupants healed, survived and put thoughts of plague and dark magic behind them. It was the era of peace; the rain after an unseating drought.
Everything has been back to normal for so long and why should the death of a lone wizard put the Ministry of Magic on alert for pandemonium? Harry Potter was a great Wizard, but even he is not immune to muggle malady. It had been a natural death¡ªa brain stroke at the age of fourty-four; typical, for a man who worked as hard as Harry Potter. But what about the disappearance of Hermione Granger, only six months later? Surely all of this is not just a coincidence.
Something dark and dangerous is brewing right beneath the eyes of the Ministry of Magic. After twenty nine peaceful years gone; it is time for a new era of famine to take over. The memory of the Dark Lord is nothing compared to the vile bout of destruction that is simmering eagerly in the background, waiting to strike. Once again¡ªdanger is near, but this time around, there is no boy-who-lived to save us from it all. We¡¯re on our own and we¡¯re running on faith.
