WELCOME TO SWITCHBLADE CITY
Welcome to Switchblade City, a place built on the lies and deception of 2.5 million human beings. The streets are paved with the blood and sweat of the citizens. Over the last ten years the once beautiful city has become one of the most corrupt places to be. Crime rates have shot up as gangs fight for control of the city. The booming business draws the hardworking and distracts them from the drugs that plague their children's schools. Neon lights blind the starved actors and musicians from the harsh realities. All night parties make the upper elite where everyone dreams of seeing themselves, making them indifferent to the poverty in the streets. Money exchanges hands as politicians and police officers are paid to keep quiet. People are afraid to report crime for fear that they'll be the next Jane/John Doe lying in the city morgue. Switchblade City has become the new NYC of it's time.
The city has been divided into four unofficial territories and three groups have taken their claim. Only the West side remains untouched and neutral while the entertainment district of the North has been claimed by the Vitius Syndicate. The rich and elite, Turpis Family holds power over the business oriented East side. Murder rules the streets of the South side as the Delinquo Cartel controls the illegal activities of the city. These three groups have held control for ten years now and even as crime runs rampant through the streets, Switchblade Police Department has no way of bringing down those who hold power. But that's all about to change. People are getting tired of the crime and someone's decided to take back control of the city to return it to it's former glory. They simply call themselves Pax Pacis. While they strive for peace, their means of getting there are in no way peaceful. Criminals that do not receive jailtime are being brutally murdered to send a message, one that will not be ignored.Will the streets finally be free of gang control or will it all fall to chaos? You can TURN YOUR BACK but it won't go away.
