full name • Ana Isabella Morgan nick names • Annie age • 22 member group • old money occupation • professional equestrian athlete grade • n/a hometown • New York, New York sexuality • straight height • 5'5'' hair • dark brown eyes • big and blue play by • Alexis Bledel
likes • muscials, horses (and most other animals), watermelon, blustery days, Glee, Jack Johnson dislikes • peanut m and m's, musicians, long finger nails, talking on the phone, people who chew like cows habits/quirks • Ana likes to give people she cares about nicknames. To the misfortune of those people, she is not very good at it. She plays with her hair when contemplating things and plays with her earrings when she is nervous. She can't stand people who bite their nails or people who chew gum obsessively. fears • Ana's worst fear (that is kept secret) is that she will end up in a loveless marriage, or not married at all. Her worst fear (that she shares) is that she will disappoint her parents in her endeavors. She's also terrified of turkeys. dreams • To find love. Duh. secrets • She secretly admires her father's favorite mechanic, Samuel Baker. overall • Ana often comes across as snobbish and stuck up, but really she's just very protective of herself, especially with people of a lower class (which is a lot of people). She isn't one of those people who are friendly to random strangers, but she doesn't have a problem introducing herself to others. If she sees an aquaintance, she usually just gives them her small but pretty lip-tight smile. She has to be very happy to be smiling with her teeth showing. She really loves dancing, and tends to love it even more the more she drinks. When drunk, her alter-ego, Anita Shaquita, comes out to party. Anita is very ghetto and very frisky, but is shockingly very careful. Annie's never been drunk enough not to remember what happened the night before (though she normally has a very bad memory for events and minor details that it really doesn't make a difference.) Annie usually only ever drinks enough to give her a happy little buzz, perfect for dancing the night away.
mother • Elizabeth Morgan; 49; stay at home mother father • William Morgan; 52; business man siblings • Ana's an only child pets • a dozen or so horses other family • n/a overall • Ana, being an only child, grew up getting whatever she wanted (within reason; her father often objected to spoiling her) just about whenever she asked for it. One of the first things she asked for was, of course, a horse. This was where her first passion took root. She loved spending time with her father out on their property. He was the one who taught her how to ride horses and how to train them, as he played a lot of polo in his youth. Ana and her father bonded a lot over the years by spending time on their multiple ranches across the country. Her father, being the savy business man he is, also ended up becoming interested in breeding and selling horses, which is why he aquired so much land. Annie, though, still prefers to ride the horses.
Ana went to school where Mr. and Mrs. Morgan's good friends sent their children, at a private school in Manhatten. This is where Ana developed close friendships to Brynne Golightly and Annalise Montgomery, two of her closest friends.
In high school she was popular without really trying or caring enough to try. She and Brynne played soccer together and Ana danced with Annalise. The two also took Annie to many parties (she enjoys dancing). But her favorite past time was horseback riding and it still is, even to date. She also dated often, but more out of boredom than actual infatuation. She had a crush in 10th grade on a senior named Ben, but she quickly realized that he was a jerk and her admiration disappeared. Throughout high school, she never really met anyone outside of her social circle. The only time she ventured to lower-class parts of New York was when she went with her father to the mechanic, Baker's Auto Repair. Mr. Baker's son, Sam, was usually present. Mr. Baker retired after Sam graduated from high school and left him in charge. Ana, however, didn't realize this until she got back from her time in Oxford.
For years she let on that she had no idea that he was interested in her, that she was ignorant of it, that she was above it. To this day it has been many years (nearly four) since she has needed to visit the mechanic, because she's been away at school in Oxford. But when her car broke down on her way to the city one afternoon, and she realized that she would have to see him, she began to panic. Would he remember her? Would he still smile at her the way he used to? Is he married?
She is still very unsure. All she's been doing lately is riding her horses and focusing on her career. Everything's been kind of blurred together for so long that now that things are slowing down, she feels a bit useless and apathetic. She misses her friends in Europe, and now that she's graduated, her parents have very little expectations of her. She feels like she could do whatever she wanted and they wouldn't care, which is a very depressing and disconcerting feeling. Her life needs a pick-me-up and she needs a little bit of fun.
